OVERVIEW

This 3-day safari begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, followed by visits to three of northern Tanzania’s most famous parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. You will enjoy thrilling game drives in open-roof vehicles, spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and possibly the rare black rhino. Your accommodation will be in a comfortable midrange lodge, ensuring both adventure and relaxation. The tour concludes with a return flight to Zanzibar.

TOUR PLAN

DAY 1 – ZANZIBAR TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Transfer: Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, then 2-hour drive to Tarangire.
Program: Early morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your short flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your safari guide will meet you and take you to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its huge elephant herds and giant baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.
Activities: Full-day game drive in Tarangire.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (midrange lodge)
Meals: Lunch and dinner included.

DAY 2 – NGORONGORO CRATER

Transfer: 1.5-hour drive from lodge to Ngorongoro.
Program: After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok site by Hippo Lake before continuing the adventure.
Activities: Full-day crater game drive.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (midrange lodge)

DAY 3 – LAKE MANYARA TO ZANZIBAR

Transfer: 40-minute drive from lodge to Lake Manyara.
Program: After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Look out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, and a wide variety of birds. After the safari, transfer back to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
Activities: Lake Manyara game drive.
Accommodation: None (end of tour).
