TOUR PLAN

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA & OPTIONAL CITY TOUR

Transfer: Pick-up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport.
Program: Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Optional city tour visiting Cultural Heritage Centre, art galleries, local markets, and the Maasai market (time permitting).
Accommodation: Forest Hill Hotel (mid-range, near Arusha).
Meals: Meals at own expense. Drinks not included.

DAY 2 – ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Transfer: Arusha to Tarangire (approx. 2 hours).
Program: Depart hotel after breakfast at 7:40am. Game drive in Tarangire, famous for elephants, baobabs, and predators. Picnic lunch inside the park, followed by more game viewing. Evening transfer to lodge.
Activities: Full-day game drive.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (luxury lodge, near Karatu).
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Drinks (except spirits/liquor).

DAY 3 – FULL-DAY NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI & RETURN TO ARUSHA

Program: Early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater at 6:00am for a 5–6 hour game drive. Spot lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and possibly the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch at the hippo pool site. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

DAY 4 – MATERUNI WATERFALLS, COFFEE TOUR & CHEMKA HOT SPRINGS

Program: Depart at 7:30am for Materuni village on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Guided 45-minute hike to Materuni Waterfalls. Coffee-making tour and tasting of local Chagga cuisine. Afternoon visit to Chemka Hot Springs for swimming and relaxation. Transfer to airport for departure.
Activities: Hiking, coffee tour, hot springs.
Accommodation: None (end of tour).
