DAY 1: ARUSHA

Kilimanjaro airport – Arusha 1 h. transfer

Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha by private car for overnight in town.

Activities: If you have time you can have a town tour with your safari guide otherwise you can relax at the lodge.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge or Gold Crest Hotel (half board).

DAY 2: TARANGIRE PARK

Arusha – Tarangire 2 h. transfer

Program: After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with pic-nic lunch.

Activities: game drive.

Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge baobab trees and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge or Roika Tented Lodge or Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.

DAY 3: MANYARA PARK

Tarangire – Manyara 1 h. transfer

Program: Before breakfast around 7 am we experience a natural walk with local guide in Tarangire National Park Conservation Area, after breakfast we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with pic-nic lunch.

Activities: natural walk and game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for biodiversity, the park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb the trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. Rich in primates, birds and big mammals.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge or Marera Lodge or Kudu Lodge.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER

Karatu -Ngorongoro (gate) 30 min. transfer

Program: After breakfast we drive down to Ngorongoro crater for game drive with pic-nic lunch.

Activities: game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. 

DAY 5, day 6 and DAY 7: SERENGETI PARK

Ngorongoro – Serengeti 2 h. transfer

Program: After breakfast we proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for next 2 days or so.

Activities: game drive.

Serengeti Park is the most famous park of all Africa, more than 15,000 square kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp or Tanzania Bush Camp or Mbugani Tented Camp.

Day 8: SERENGETI & LAKE NATRON

Serengeti gate to Lake Natron 5 h transfer

Program: After breakfast we experience the last game drive leaving Serengeti, then we proceed to Lake Natron.

Activities: game drives and activities at Lake Natron.

Lake Natron is a salt lake located in northern Tanzania, close to the Kenyan border, in the eastern branch of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. The high water temperature (up to 41°C) and the high and very variable salt content of the lake does not support most wildlife. However it is an important habitat for flamingos and is home to endemic algae, invertebrates and even fish that can survive in the salty water.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Natron River Camp.

Day 9: LAKE NATRON – ARUSHA

Transfer Natron – Karatu 4 h.

Program: Today we can go down to Lake Natron waiting for sunrise and see a lot of flamingos. Later we can continue our activities at the lake and proceed to Karatu where we arrive before dinner.

Activities: natural walk and Maasai culture.

Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Farm of Dream Lodge or Marera Lodge or Kudu Lodge.
