Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Optional City Tour

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. If time allows, enjoy an optional guided city tour visiting the Cultural Heritage Centre, local art galleries, bustling markets, and the lively Maasai Market for souvenirs and cultural insight.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha at 7:40 a.m. for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Explore the park from an open-roof vehicle, witnessing seasonal swamps, expansive savannas, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Look out for giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, warthogs, and elephants, alongside a variety of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot with stunning views, followed by more thrilling game viewing. Late afternoon, transfer to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

Start early at 6:00 a.m. and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site spanning 260 km² with a diameter of roughly 20 km. The crater is home to a rich variety of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool before continuing your game drive.

After this unforgettable experience, return to Arusha, arriving between 5:00–6:00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs Excursion

Depart at 7:30 a.m. for the Kilimanjaro region, passing through the scenic Kishumundu villages to the lush highlands of Materuni. Take a 45-minute guided hike to the stunning waterfall, followed by an authentic coffee-making experience and tasting of local Chagga cuisine.

In the afternoon, visit Chemka Hot Springs, a crystal-clear natural oasis perfect for relaxing and enjoying a natural pedicure from the playful “doctor fish.” After this refreshing experience, transfer to the airport for your departure.
