This 3 days safari offers a rich blend of wildlife adventure and cultural exploration. Beginning in Zanzibar, you will fly to Arusha and continue by road to Tarangire National Park, home to elephants and iconic baobab trees. The journey continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world, where you may spot the Big Five including the rare black rhino. On the final day, you will head to Lake Eyasi for an immersive cultural experience with the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, before returning to Zanzibar.

TOUR PLAN

DAY 1 – ZANZIBAR TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Transfer: Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha (approx. 1 hour), followed by a 2-hour drive to Tarangire.
Program: Early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar, transfer to airport, then flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Explore landscapes of baobab trees, swamps, and the Tarangire River while spotting elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and diverse birdlife.
Activities: Game drive in Tarangire.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (mid-range lodge, outside Ngorongoro Crater).
Meals: Lunch and dinner included.

DAY 2 – NGORONGORO CRATER

Transfer: Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 90 minutes).
Program: After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Explore the 20 km-wide crater, home to lions, buffalo, elephants, and black rhinos. Picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok, overlooking Hippo Lake. Afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Activities: Ngorongoro Crater game drive.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (mid-range lodge, outside Ngorongoro Crater).

DAY 3 – LAKE EYASI & RETURN TO ZANZIBAR

Transfer: Lodge to Lake Eyasi (early morning departure), then to Arusha Airport for flight back to Zanzibar.
Program: Depart at 5:30am with packed breakfast for Lake Eyasi. Engage in cultural activities with the Hadzabe, including traditional hunting and gathering practices. Learn about their unique click language and way of life. Afterward, transfer to Arusha Airport for flight back to Zanzibar.
Activities: Hadzabe cultural experience.
Accommodation: None (end of tour).
Meals: Breakfast and lunch included.
