3-Day Midrange Safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. If time allows, you may enjoy an optional city tour, visiting the famous Cultural Heritage art gallery, local markets, and the Maasai Market.

Main Destination: Arusha (City)
Accommodation: Njiro Legacy Hotel (Mid-range hotel located in Arusha City)

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will pick you up from the lodge at 8:00 am and drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy views of seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, all teeming with wildlife—giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, warthogs, eland, elephants, and over 500 bird species.

You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic site before continuing your game drive. In the evening, head to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge (Mid-range lodge located outside Ngorongoro Crater)
Meals & Drinks: All meals included, All drinks (except spirits/liquor)

Day 3: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
Start early at 6:00 am as you descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. This natural wonder is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and countless bird species. Spanning 20 km in diameter, the crater offers a unique ecosystem where you’ll spend five to six hours exploring.

After this unforgettable experience, you’ll return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
