Day 1: Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins early in the morning with a pickup from your Zanzibar hotel (from 5:00 am, depending on location) and transfer to the airport for your flight to Arusha, arriving around 9:20 am. Upon arrival, your safari guide will warmly welcome you before you set off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Known for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers some of Tanzania’s most authentic wildlife encounters. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, enjoy views of the savannah and the Tarangire River, which draws an impressive variety of animals and birds. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs, and countless elephants.

As the day winds down, head to your beautiful lodge on the escarpment for dinner and a restful night surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Fly Back to Zanzibar
Begin your day with an early 5:00 am departure toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, carrying your packed breakfast and lunch. Descend into this incredible natural wonder, often referred to as Africa’s Eden, to witness one of the densest concentrations of wildlife on earth.

Here, you’ll have the chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. The scenery — from misty crater walls to shimmering soda lakes — is truly breathtaking.

After approximately five hours of exploration, you’ll ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening.
