Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Central Serengeti National Park

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Central Serengeti. Prepare to embark on an exciting game drive as you venture into the wilderness, following the trails of the Great Migration. Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and recently recognized as the 7th wonder of the world, is Tanzania’s oldest and most renowned national park. It offers an extraordinary wildlife experience, where you can witness the annual migration of approximately six million animals. Prepare to be amazed as you encounter vast herds of buffalo, graceful elephants and giraffes, and numerous antelope species such as eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 2-3: Exploring Central Serengeti

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Serengeti National Park during two full days of exploration. Marvel at the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes that surround you. The Wagakuria area of the Serengeti boasts an exceptional abundance of resident wildlife, including pride of lions with up to 30 members. However, from July to October, this area transforms into a wildlife paradise as the Great Migration takes place. Keep your eyes open for the awe-inspiring river crossings, where herds of animals bravely navigate the Mara River, moving north and then back south. Please note that witnessing a crossing can be challenging and often relies on luck.

Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Ride
