Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. If time permits, enjoy an optional city tour including visits to the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, local market, and Maasai Market to experience Arusha’s vibrant cultural scene before settling in for the evening.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart at 7:45 a.m. for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, the park features seasonal swamps, open savannah, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Explore in an open-roof vehicle, spotting giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot before continuing your game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Visiting Hadza & Datoga Communities

After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi for a unique cultural experience. Meet the Hadzabe people, traditional hunter-gatherers who showcase their hunting, honey gathering, and simple living practices, including their unique click language. Continue to the Datoga community, famed for blacksmithing and artisanal crafts. After engaging with these vibrant communities, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a 4–5 hour drive through the crater highlands toward the expansive Serengeti plains. Weather permitting, stop briefly at Ngorongoro Viewpoint to admire the caldera. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, then an afternoon game drive upon arrival in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Spend the day on an extensive game drive from sunrise to sunset, searching for the Big Five and observing over 500 bird species. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight. Optional activities include a hot-air balloon safari or walking safari at an additional cost.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive toward Ngorongoro Crater with approximately 3 hours of wildlife viewing along the way. Descend into the crater to explore its 260 km² ecosystem, home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare black rhino. Spend 5–6 hours exploring this natural wonder, then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Departure & Airport Transfer

Enjoy a final breakfast before checking out around 10:00 a.m. You may choose to be dropped off at a hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro, or directly at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, concluding your memorable safari journey.
