7-Day Northern Circuit Classic Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Optional City Tour

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be met and transferred to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. If time permits, enjoy an optional city tour, exploring the Cultural Heritage art gallery, local markets, and the vibrant Maasai Market, offering a perfect introduction to Arusha’s culture.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart your lodge at 7:45 a.m. for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2-hour drive. Famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the park also features seasonal swamps, expansive savanna, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River.

Enjoy a game drive spotting giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch amid stunning scenery is included. In the evening, relax at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, located 120 km west of Arusha. This compact yet diverse park surrounds a shallow salt lake, home to over 500 bird species. Wildlife sightings may include monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and tree-climbing lions. Explore varied landscapes, from open plains to woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Return to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Journey to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park, a 4–5 hour drive with wildlife sightings en route. Weather permitting, pause at Ngorongoro Viewpoint for a short stop to admire the breathtaking caldera.

A picnic lunch will be served along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp, nestled in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Today is a full day of exploration in Serengeti National Park. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives, searching for the Big Five and discovering over 500 bird species. Return to your tented camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari or walking safari can be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way (approx. 3 hours). Spend 5–6 hours exploring this iconic crater, home to an extraordinary range of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino.

In the evening, check in at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure from Arusha

Enjoy breakfast and reflect on your safari experiences. Check out around 11:00 a.m. and transfer to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, or a hotel in Arusha, marking the end of your adventure.
